Bluebird Meadows
Bluebird Meadows Bed and Breakfast is nestled on a hilltop in
beautiful Oro-Medonte Township, offering spectacular sunsets and
panoramic views of the countryside. Situated on just over 47 acres,
featuring nature trails for walking or cross-country skiing and ever
expanding perennial gardens and pathways perfect for a stroll, or
even to find that perfect spot to finish a book and just take in the
view.
Our private guest wing and entrance makes for a relaxing come as
you please stay, with an inn like ambiance. Bluebird Meadows Bed
and Breakfast offers a private guest great room with a cozy
fireplace. This added to the peace and tranquility, makes Bluebird
Meadows the perfect spot for that romantic getaway or weekend
escape. All our guest rooms feature central air, ensuite baths and
king, queen or twin beds. For the fitness minded our exercise
room is available for your convenience. Afterwards enjoy a dip in
our outdoor hot-tub.
Bluebird Meadows Bed and Breakfast provides year round,
vacation accommodations in the heart of Huronia and Southern
Georgian Bay. Minutes from Wye Marsh, Tiny Marsh, and the
Provincial Copeland Forest Preserve provide wilderness trails,
hiking, ecotourism, canoeing, cycling, skiing, snowshoeing, nature
trails and bird watching.
We are centrally located to all seasons recreational activities:
Hiking/birding at Tiny Marsh, Wye Marsh, and Copeland Forest,
Nordic or X-country skiing at Moonstone Mt. St. Louis, Horseshoe,
Hardwood Hills, Wye Marsh and Blue Mountain, boat launch and
boat cruise tours on Georgian Bay’s 30,000 Islands in Midland,
swimming in Georgian Bay at Wasaga Beach (the largest fresh
water beach in the world) horseback riding rentals just 3 minutes
away and numerous excellent golf courses are nearby.
Other area activities/attractions include: St. Marie Among the
Hurons, Martyrs’ Shrine, Discovery Harbour, Casino Rama,
Georgian Downs, Elmvale Jungle Zoo, annual artisans tour, local
B&B tours, King’s Warf Theatre, dog sledding, maple syrup
festivals, autumn colour tour, fall fairs, and antiquing.
